Recently I purchased a 1965 Austin Healey Sprite that the previous two owners had not completed. This particular Sprite was interesting to me because it had a. 1959 Bugeye front tilt bonnet installed. I immediately saw a concept for a car the factory could have built from the parts bin, but didn’t. It would be a factory Spyder along the lines of an early Porche Spyder. It would be lower, larger engine, and minimum creature comforts. There’ll be no top, no side windows, no vent windows, no heater, no radio and the windshield will be chopped approximately two inches. The color is silver and currently has black racing stripes.
